Welcome to the Golden Gays™ official website! Whether you grew up watching the Golden Girls or you’re a newer fan, you’ve come to the right place. This hilarious camp troupe, inspired by the fabulous ladies of Richmond Street is sure to make you laugh! ​​

The Golden Gays™ formed in 2017 and have been delighting crowds all over the U.S. ever since. Their loyal fanbase has only grown throughout the years, and they are honored to perform as these show-stopping women.
 
We all know and love the fabulous Golden Girls: Blanche Devereaux, Dorothy Zbornak, Rose Nylund, and momma Sophia Petrillo. The Golden Gays bring them to the stage and bea-yond through music, comedy, and more. You never know what surprises they have in store up their glamorous sleeves.
 
Originally created by Andy Crosten, Gerry Mastrolia, Jason B. Schmidt and Mason Griffin, the Golden Gays NYC set out to create Golden Girls Musicals they would want to see on stage!  The current cast of Golden Gays™ (rebranded in 2022 to remove the "NYC") includes Christopher Eklund as The Blanche, Mastrolia as The Rose and Schmidt as The Dorothy with Greg J. Carey as a rotating cast member/understudy.  While they dazzle crowds throughout the northeast and beyond on their own, when they get together, this girl gang takes things to a whole new level. You don’t want to miss out!
 
The Golden Girls was iconic for many reasons. It was groundbreaking and the cast was nothing short of perfection. The show may have ended back in 1992, but its legacy still lives on through the Golden Gays. They couldn’t do it without all of your support. Thank you for being a friend and checking out the site.
