The Golden Gays™️, JuneBug Retro Resort, and Princess Anne Hotel will be creating a ONE OF A KIND Golden Girls Weekend June 16-18, 2023 in Asheville (Weaverville), NC.
There will be food, trivia, musical performances, amazing special guests and endless Instagrammable experiences. We plan to call our favorite Golden Girl celebrities to make it a truly unique weekend. Think: producers, writers, and of course the premiere Musical Drag Troupe!

Well, famed Golden Girls photographer Wayne Williams will capture the Running of the Sophias! 7 PM FRI - #TokenSophia Lasagna Dinner – VIP Tables + 1 adult beverage included. Cash bar available. 9 PM FRI - Friday Night by the FIre Marsha-Mellows with Marsha Posner Williams, gather 'round the old campfire as Marsha Posner Williams, Co-Producer of the Golden Girls, Soap, Benson and more, tells stories about the biz. VIP guests will get to submit a question to Marsha that she may pull out of the fishbowl. 8 AM - 10 AM SAT - Bagel breakfast served on property at JuneBug or breakfast served at Princess Anne 11 AM- 12 PM SAT - GG Trivia with the men behind The Golden Gays (the Golden Theys)! (Cash bar will be open with complimentary snacks) VIP table seating 1 PM SAT - The Golden Girls Movie?! Pitch your movie script idea to the writer of The Golden Girls, The Gilmore Girls and The Brady Bunch Movies, Stan Zimmerman.
