​The Golden Gays™ at the 3rd Annual HoliGay Market in boston

The Golden Gays™ Drag Troupe will be performing at the 3rd annual Boston HoliGay Market on Sunday, December 11th from 12-7pm!

This year's market will feature over 90 queer and ally vendors of all kinds, selling everything from art to jewelry to clothes to body positive apparel. The festivities also include drag performances, live music, and food trucks. The Golden Gays™ Drag Troupe is excited to be a part of this year's market and we hope to see you there!

What is the HoliGay Market

​HoliGay Market is a pop-up market and party celebrating LGBTQ+ businesses, designers, artists, and makers. The market will feature over 90 queer-owned and ally businesses. There will be a variety of vendors at HoliGay Market, making it a great opportunity to support local LGBTQ+ businesses and buy some unique holiday gifts!

The HoliGay Market is a unique event that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and promotes inclusivity and diversity. One of the youngest holiday markets in Boston, this event has quickly grown in popularity, so much so that NEOM had to move the event to a larger space -  as in a 33,000 square foot space!

This year, we are proud to be a part of the HoliGay Market in Boston. This event is the 11th stop on our Thank YULE for Being a Friend Tour.

A perfect Addition

​Boston is home to a vibrant and welcoming LBGTQ+ scene. The city is home to a great selection of bars, clubs, and other nightlife options that cater to the community.​

And, now, during the holidays, the HoliGay Market pops up to add even more festive cheer. The HoliGay Market is a great addition to Boston's already thriving LBGTQ+ scene. With a wide variety of vendors selling everything from jewelry and clothes to books and art as well as entertainment, it’s the perfect place to enjoy some holiday shopping and festivities. The HoliGay Market is a great way to experience a piece of this community. This annual event takes place in December and features a wide variety of vendors selling everything from clothes to jewelry to art.

Are You an LGBTQ+ or Ally business, designer, artist, or maker? At the time of publication, New England Open Markets was still accepting applicaitons for vendors for The HoliGay Market. They will continue accepting applications until all of the vendor spaces are full. You can learn more and fill out an application on the NOEM application page.

The Performance

The Golden Gays are excited to bring their special brand of humor and hijinks to Boston's HoliGay Market! This popular annual event celebrates diversity and inclusion in the LGBTQ+ community, and the Golden Gays are proud to be a part of it.

Performance-wise, expect nothing less than pure entertainment gold. The Golden Gays will have you laughing, cheering, and maybe even shedding a tear or two. Thank YULE for Being a Friend is our winter holiday tour.  Our 2022 Thank YULE for Being a Friend Tour kicks off in Madison, New Jersey on Friday, November 18th, 2022 at the Madison Community Arts Center.

Thank YULE for Being a Friend is a special holiday show of our own creation. Here's a summary of the show: ​




​Picture It:

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the store, each department was dripping with Yuletide decor.  Sophia was nestled all snug in her bed, while visions of sugar prunes danced in her head.  Before traveling to spend the Holidays with their families, Dorothy, Blanche, and Rose participate in a golden gift exchange full of hilarious surprises.  Just as they get to the airport a winter storm blows in, leaving them trapped!  In an unexpected Charles Dickens twist of events, the three grannies must visit their past, present, and future to save Christmas (and find Sophia)...just in time for turkey lurkey.  Lucky audience members may even have a chance to become the next #TokenSophia!      

​Our repertoir includes several exclusive shows written by us. Among the titles are "Hot Flashbacks", The Golden Games", and" Ring Ring, its the Libertine Belle - Murder Musical!"
